We are delighted to announce the Design Groups within the Thematic Process of the 7th World Water Forum. The Design Groups will lead each of the 16 themes in the Forum, providing the backbone for the entire Forum process. The Design Groups will also identify concrete actions and policy changes needed to implement solutions for each theme.
The Thematic Process which encompasses a wide variety of issues is open to everyone willing to share their expertise and valuable lessons derived from actual implementation. If you want to organize or participate in a session of the Thematic Process, please take the following steps:
1. Pick up the most relevant theme in the Thematic Framework.
2. Contact the Design Group members who are in charge of a selected theme to express your specific interest by July 7th. You can find the Design Groups' contact point in the attachment.
The Design Group will propose issues and the Session Group members, who will hold a session around those issues, to the Thematic Process Commission by the July 7th. The Design Group will arrange a list based on outcomes of the 2nd Stakeholders Consultation Meeting held in February 2014 in Gyeongju, Korea, as well as expressions of interest received since then.
The Thematic Process Commission welcomes your participation. As the 7th Forum is just a few months away, your full attention and enthusiastic participation are called upon more than ever. We look forward to producing fruitful outcomes with all of you.
