« Handbook on water resources management in transboundary river basins »


INBO is jointly preparing with GWP, UNESCO, UNECE, AFD and GEF a new handbook on IWRM in transboundary river basins, following the first volume which was already published in 2009 at the Forum of Istanbul and which was an enormous world success.

This handbook will be presented at the 6th World Water Forum of Marseilles in March 2012, please send to us by return your case studies, your solutions and recommendations.

Assessments of the current status of implementation have shown that less than 40% of water bodies will meet the Good Ecological Status in 2015
