Dear Friends, On behalf of the Mediterranean Network of Basin Organizations (MENBO), I am pleased to invite you to participate in the international event, which will take place, at the invitation of the Moroccan Minister of the Environment, Water and Regional Planning: from 23 to 26 May 2005 in MARRAKECH – MOROCCO This international event is organized at the time of the General Assembly of the Mediterranean Network of Basin Organizations (MENBO), the detailed program of which will be addressed to you by the Jucar River Basin Authority (Spain), in charge of its Permanent Technical Secretariat. An International Technical Seminar on integrated water resource management in the Mediterranean region and North Africa (extreme phenomena and groundwater) will be organized on this occasion and please send now your proposals for an address to the JUCAR River Basin Authority. The Liaison Bureau of the African Network of Basin Organizations (ANBO), the World Liaison Bureau of INBO, the working group of the " EU Water Initiative Joint Process " and the Steering Committee of the TWINBASIN project, will also meet on this same occasion. You will find, herewith, the draft program of the entire event in Marrakech. A simultaneous translation into the English and French languages will be provided.
