Next CEENBO meeting

Bucharest, the 22th July 2003 Dear Madame/Sir, As agreed to Calimanesti, 13-15 November 2002, and according to the agenda of INBO (established during INBO Liaison Bureau in La Martinique, France, 16-18 June 2003), I hereby confirm that the next CEENBO meeting will take place on 10 - 14 September 2003 in Danube Delta (Romania), as following : 10 September - arrival and transfer to Tulcea, 11 - 12 September - the technical workshop related to the implementation of the Water Framework Directive in CEENBO region, 12 September afternoon - the Bureau, 13 September - visit in Danube Delta, 14 September - departure. (Final program - PDF 57 Ko) The CEE NBO Bureau will be organised by the Secretariat of CEE NBO. The workshop topic will be "Characterisation of hydrographic districts : steps and procedures, case studies. Specific aspects of wetlands". The preparation of the workshop will be ensured by the National Administration "Apele Romane" - the Secretariat of CEENBO and by the International Office for Water, France. The CEE NBO members are asked to sent the abstract of their presentation related to our very generous subject untill the 8th August 2003. The working language will be english. We would like to mention that the National Administration "Apele Romane" will be able to support the local accommodation during the period of the Liaison Bureau and the local transportation for all the participants. The international transportation and the accommodation for one participant from each CEE NBO country during the workshop, as well as accomodation for a second representative, will be ensured by the International Office for Water with the support of the French Ministry of Ecology and Sustainable Development .
